SAINT GEORGE’S BANNER–FEBRUARY 2012
OYSTER ROAST ENJOYED BY ALL
Our annual Oyster Roast occurred January 28 at the Farmers Market. “We had a beautiful day,” said Joyce Voights. “We were blessed. Everything seemed to work like a well-oiled machine.”
There were many positive comments about the quality of the oysters, shrimp, and the chili. People were very complimentary and appreciative. “Everyone I asked said it was our best ever,” said Nancy Hutchinson. “We looked like a Christian family, ” she added. “I loved doing the Oyster Roast.”
Next year will be our 25th year of putting on the Oyster Roast. We plan to do something really special next year.

See the church office for registration forms or visit www.bishopgravatt.org. Spring Break camp will be April 2-6. Family camp will be May 19-20.
NOTES OF APPRECIATION
My dear friend Barre Greene loved her church family and always spoke very warmly of her “church home and family.” Thank you for being there for my friend. Sincerely, Lena Biles
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, your Kairos Community thanks you for your loving contribution (from last year’s Oyster Roast.) The Body of Christ at work in the Correctional Institutions creates a sense of awe as the Holy Spirit heals and draws all of us closer to God. We again thank you and ask God our Father to continue to bless you and keep you in his loving care. In His Love, Lew Warren
We are most grateful for your support to African Team Ministries which is helping the churches in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Food has been shipped to the many suffering from the drought in Kenya. The proceeds also make possible education and a nutritious lunch for orphaned children in Kenya and Uganda. Thank you for your support which has made this outreach possible. Faithfully yours, Keith Jesson

ST. GEORGE’S HOUSE GETS NEW STORM DOOR
Thanks to Bill and Bertha Sanchez who purchased a new storm door for St. George’s House, and thanks to Victoria Voights and her assistant, Joyce Voights for installing the new door. Our old door had broken and would not shut. Thanks for keeping St. George’s more eco-friendly! Now we just need new windows.
